Rhetorically speaking, if one would want to create a still, what would one have to do. Perhaps if one were to procure plans and instructions to make said still, where could one do such a thing? Rhetorically speaking, of course.

Re: stillness
Wed, June 9, 2004 - 7:57 PMStillness is a hard task to accomplish. There is motion in everything. Stuff like sound waves, sub-sounds, natural frequency of matterials, and siesmic disturbances makes this task a very arduous one. Right now in Cal State LA they are trying to make a mirror array for a telescope that will be accurate within 10 microns and they are having a very hard time in accomplishing this. I hope this is helpfull. -

Re: stillness
Thu, June 10, 2004 - 8:21 AMThank you the Markus! I do find it very interesting, but the still of which I speak is the other type of still...the type for the distillation of sugar. Any thoughts on where I can find plans for this?
Yours,
Adam -

Sat, June 19, 2004 - 7:49 PMWell It's definitely more than a 5 step process but heres an informative link on building a home still. It answers all the frequently asked questions, such as... "Is this legal" or "will i go blind?"

Re: stillness
Sun, July 11, 2004 - 7:01 AMTough one, here. Let's see...I think the first batch will be ketchupohol. It will have the sickly sweetness of ketchup but the hearty bite of ouzo. I expect a smooth pink colour and a tomato bouquet. I really think it will be a hit.
Otherwise I am thinking a strong pickle brew. Hard to say at the moment...so many possibilities. -

Re: stillness
Sun, July 11, 2004 - 10:25 AMya i guess the sky's the limit. That ketchupahol would really put the tang in cesars. Too bad this wasn't the early 1900's where if your alcohol concoction didn't taste quite right. You simply sold it as a nerve tonic. -

Re: stillness
Sun, July 11, 2004 - 6:46 PMHa! Good idea. I can sell it as a penis enlarging tonic. But what kind of person buys that kind of thing? -

This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.
Re: stillness
Sun, July 11, 2004 - 7:24 PMCaution: Items in view may appear larger after excess consuption of ketchupahol.
