    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;I was bored last night, and was surfing the web, and stumbled across instructions on how to extract your own DNA (at http://stuartcw.livejournal.com/628940.html).  I'd never extracted my own DNA, so I immediately followed the instructions, and ended up with a stringy, goopy extract of me.  It was all very exciting for a few minutes, but I was left wondering NOW WHAT?  So, I thought I'd ask around on here for suggestions for easy things to do with freshly extracted DNA and things I might have around home.&lt;/div&gt;
